Role Details

Brave Folk is a boutique Digital Creative, Design & Marketing agency that is growing fast. We are looking for the next team member to join our digital adventures, are you Brave enough?

Currently we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join the team. The right candidate will be looking to excel and become a valuable and respected asset to the business & our clients, as well as having the correct skillset and ability to create engaging designs according to requirements & deliver solid and well thought out solutions to a variety of client briefs.

You will work under the supervision of a Senior Designer to produce high-quality work, you must be an enthusiastic individual with an ambition to excel, learn new skills & the ability to work alone and take control of smaller projects.

In this role, you should be highly creative with a sharp eye for details, you must have a good knowledge of colours, fonts & current design trends as well as a passion for all things design, branding & website development. If this excites you, and you are eager to learn more, we’d like to meet you.

Your goal will be to create impactful designs & branding that capture and promote our clients & our companies vision.

Skill/Attributes Required

Responsibilities

Understand project requirements and concepts
Use various techniques to create drafts, models and prototypes
Produce final design solutions (like logos, banners, websites)
Pitch creative ideas
Collaborate with team members to launch projects
Take on special design tasks (e.g. colour correction, photoshop etc..)
Use feedback from other designers to improve
Will also include assisting in website / Marketing & SEO work when required.

Requirements
*Degree level qualification in Graphic Design or similar required (Advanced Diploma qualification expectable, depending on portfolio)
* Industry experience greatly preferred, but not a deal breaker.
* Must have great experience with, Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop
* Helpful to have experience with After Effects, WordPress
* Familiarity with design techniques
*Understanding of visual elements (layout, type and fonts)
* Teamwork skills
* A keen eye for detail
* Time management and multitasking abilities
* Creativity skills and problem-solving aptitude
