Shillington students from around the world share the work of creatives who inspire them in the #ILoveTheseGuys series. In this post, London graduate Isabelle de Marnix highlights projects from London-based design studio Bolter.
Bolter Design is a London based design studio that does everything from branding to architecture to packaging. Their style is pure, well-thought and always sophisticated. Their clients range from start-ups to restaurants and beauty brands.
I love the packaging and brand identity they made for Dressd. They used see-through material for the bottles, enhancing focus on the monochrome and zingy colour palette of the natural ingredients. They also gave it a modern and clean look and feel by using beautifully simple typography and white space. So successful, when the dressing is so sexy anyone wants to eat a salad! For this project, they “use a monochrome colour palette to enhance the zinginess of the natural colours and ingredients. We match this with a scientific look and feel to highlight the integrity and complete healthiness.”
