Are you a savvy Junior Graphic Designer with a passion for health and fitness? Crunch Fitness is seeking a well-qualified individual for a Junior Graphic Designer role. This role is responsible for the design of collateral, outreach, digital marketing, social media graphics etc., while maintaining the brand’s overall look. This includes managing timelines to ensure assets are proofed, prepped for production, and executed on time while maintaining a high volume of output. The Junior Graphic Designer works alongside the Creative Director and Designers in the conception, implementation, and execution of marketing initiatives. This role requires fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and strong project management skills.
Work Location and Classification: New York City (Hybrid with 2-3 days in office) and Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Main Accountabilities:
*Design and production of various creative projects, including emails, display ads, in-club signage, billboards, print outreach, and more
*Work closely with Marketing Department to maintain deadlines
Facilitate creative needs of internal clients (e.g. operations, retail, group fitness, personal training, etc.)
*Maintain Crunch-y brand standards across all internal and external projects
Critical Competencies:
*Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) (proficiency in other Adobe applications are also welcome)
*Strong layout skills, conceptual design ability and a good eye for detail
*The ability to take a project from initial brief to print-ready finished artwork
*Some video editing skills and/or photography experience would be highly regarded
Other Requirements:
*Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop) (proficiency in other Adobe applications are also welcome)
*Strong layout skills, conceptual design ability and a good eye for detail
*The ability to take a project from initial brief to print-ready finished artwork
*Some video editing skills and/or photography experience would be highly regarded
*Be familiar with designing for the digital space
*Basic Microsoft Office Suite knowledge
*Be a team player, flexible and open to constructive criticism
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Good time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
*Be passionate about health and fitness
*Understanding of design’s role in marketing best practices
BA or BFA in design, or related work experience and/or relevant coursework
*Production, photography, and/or copywriting skills are an added bonus
*Able to work in the NY corporate office 2-3 days a week
