Little & Large Events are seeking a junior level designer to join our team 4-5 days a week. You will be helping us deliver unique and exciting events, displays and designs for projects of all sizes including shopping centre events, experiential activations and more.

Role Details

Little & Large Events are seeking a junior level designer to join our team 4-5 days a week. You will be helping us deliver unique and exciting events, displays and designs for projects of all sizes including shopping centre events, experiential activations and more.

Candidate must be QLD based and be able to work in office (Coomera). 

We are an in-house creative & design studio who work together with the production team on all projects.

This opportunity gives you a creative licence to be innovative, hands-on and fully immersed in your designs from concept to reality.

To create a big picture, it starts with the small pieces. We know that an accumulation of the little things done right, make big things happen, so attention to detail matters. Little & Large are hands on, practical, problem solvers who go the extra mile to ensure execution goes beyond expectation for the best experience.

The role will be require you to collaborate with the broader team on the following:
Initially:
• Working along side our designers to support in print files production of approved Jobs
• Prepare print production files to scale and sized correct according to materials (requires attention to detail)
• Helping research and designing mood boards and presentations based on a brief
• Helping overall branding of event presentations and concepts

Working towards:
• Developing concepts across both brand design and experiential event design
• Preparing visualisations of event and branding
• Collaboration with production on furniture and finishings
• Considering materials throughout concepts
• We work fast and as part of this role you will be responsible for taking concepts to final execution across all aspects of the business – events, brand design, campaigns

Bonus Points
• Ability to work in 3D for conceptual rendering (mainly in illustrator) but any other 3d sorftware a bonus
• Experience in working to scale for floor plans and print files.
• The ability to work to tight deadlines across multiple fields of expertise ie. Design & Branding, Illustration, 3D Rendering, Drafting & Floor Plans, Creative Writing, Social Strategy and Content Creation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Works well in team setting, both with other designers and production team.
• Knowledge base of adobe software
• Keen ability to learn
• Branding experience and an understanding around brand identity will be needed
• An expert at making the complex simple
• Outgoing, friendly, sense of team spirit, confident and dedicated to and passionate about events.
• Excellent written English and the ability to quickly write conceptual rationales for presentations.
• Interpretation of briefs and conceptualisation of creative executions
