#ILoveTheseGuys Creative Inspiration: Made Somewhere

Shillington students from around the world share the work of creatives who inspire them in the #ILoveTheseGuys series. In this post, New York graduate Lizzie Diffey highlights her favourite projects from the Sydney based studio, Made Somewhere.

I stumbled across Made Somewhere during a late night Instagram binge. I love their use of negative space, their simple but effective typography and use of calm pastel colors.

My favorite work is the branding and packaging design for Amp Skincare. Made Somewhere created a packaging system which harnesses both the technological aspect of the product as well as the skincare benefits. Made Somewhere’s website compliments their clean design style. They let their work speak for itself and hold the most real estate on their landing page. There’s good flow from project to project.

For this online retailer of pooch bandanas, the studio created the iconography, illustration, animation, packaging and digital assets.
