#ILoveTheseGuys Creative Inspiration: M&E Studio
M&E are Matthew Bolger and Emelie Lidström, a super-creative Irish/Swedish duo based in Malmö and Copenhagen. They’re known for their hand-made approach to visual effects, often building parts and photographing the elements before bringing them to life digitally. Thinking sideways and getting their hands dirty, M&E’s studio will often be abuzz with power tools as the creative duo manipulate materials as varied as plastic resin, sea coral, mirrors, fireworks, flowers, balloons, hair, confetti, wood and paint to achieve their desired aesthetic.
