A collaborative and experimental event that offers a unique platform to bring together a diverse range of publishers, artists and designers from across the globe.
The Melbourne Art Book Fair is an annual event hosted by the National Gallery of Victoria and established in 2015. It celebrates challenging work and champions the representation of publishing practice in the contemporary age.
In 2022 the fair will take on a distributed form across Melbourne Design Week—running from 17 March to 27 March. And it will host a range of satellite events taking place in Victoria—the wide variety of programs hosted from Metropolitan and Regional Victoria include panel discussions, activations, studio workshops, exhibitions, and performances!
Most excitingly, the-person stallholders will be returning to the NGV Great Hall on the first weekend of the fair (Friday 18 March to Sunday 20 March). The stallholders will feature Shillington’s very own Annette Dennis—Online teacher and owner of independent publishing imprint Dossier Industries!
