Graphic Designer – Position Description
REPORTS TO: HEAD OF MARKETING and CREATIVE DIRECTOR

As Graphic Designer at VALD, you will assist the Marketing Team with visual communication, developing visual concepts by hand or with computer software. You will create digital and print collateral across the VALD brand, sub-brands and products.

You will report to and be supported / guided by the Creative Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and design various materials for social, digital and print collateral.

Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule.

Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines.

Prioritise and manage multiple projects within design specifications and budget restrictions.

Perform retouching and manipulation of images.

Work with a wide range of media and use graphic design software.

Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategise with the Marketing Team and other stakeholders for a wide range of materials that may include web pages, EDMs, email signatures, business cards, presentations, sales collateral, signage, internal communication and more.

Develop concepts by hand or with software, and execute original content determining ideal usage of colour, text, font style, imagery, and layout.

Manage the design and dispatch of all project material, understanding best practices for SharePoint.

Add supers and other graphics to videos.
