Wine Enthusiast is looking for an entry- to mid-level web producer to help build content for our digital properties. This person is ideally interested in a career in digital publishing. They must be comfortable working in content management systems (namely Wordpress) and be eager to develop their skills while ensuring

Role Details

Responsibilities include:
• Support digital editorial team in gathering assets to build content, including print to digital story conversions
• Update live content to fix copy and formatting errors, add or remove images, and make copy edits as needed
• Input basic SEO updates recommended by lead editors
• Work with content stakeholders to ensure content is published on schedule
• Liaise with the product and tech teams on launching new features, reporting and tracking bugs, and test quality control on behalf of editorial team
• Assist the digital commerce team with uploading assets including images, product descriptions and buying guides
• Work with the affiliate e-commerce editor to identify and execute on affiliate link optimization opportunities
• Crop, edit, and resize images in Photoshop as needed
• Assist in the organization and upkeep of homepages, channel pages, tag pages, and more
• Help with building and deploying newsletters as needed

Reports To: Vice President of Content

Skill/Attributes Required

• The ability to proactively prioritize, manage and complete multiple projects simultaneously within time constraints and with strong attention to detail and quality
• Exceptional organizational, written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding and interest in how to present content optimally for an online audience
• Basic understanding of SEO
• Strong design and layout skills
• Firm understanding of/proficiency in HTML, CSS, and back-end web page architecture
