Clients get the same old gifts at Christmas. To stand out we needed to give something memorable. Defrosty the snowman is a melted snowman in a bottle, just waiting to get out and into a cocktail glass. The long journey from the harsh Northern Hemisphere winter left him pretty drained, but after a stint in the freezer he’s ready to go again. Just mix him in a ‘defrostini’ and enjoy.

Melbourne Cup means party invitations come thicker and faster than a filly at the finish line. We had to entice our clients and suppliers to party with us on the big day. We scored the biggest corporate box at the racetrack, and gave people an excuse to get out of work to come join us—a legitimate-looking doctor’s note excusing them from work. Nothing’s more Australian than chucking a sickie, so we gave friends of the agency the perfect opportunity to do just that. We then kept them engaged in the lead up to the big event, to make sure our party was the only one they wanted to be at.
