Earlier in the year, Shillington London were approached with an opportunity we couldn’t turn down. H&M, the global fashion powerhouse, wanted recent Shillington London graduates to design posters for the exterior of their new shop on London’s Oxford Street.

Background

H&M wanted our most recent graduates’ artwork to be featured on the shopfront. The company wanted to celebrate the younger look & feel of their new store store. The shop was to act as a canvas to celebrate youth creativity in the heart of London.

Shillington reached out to our most recent London graduates, working alongside Shoreditch-based design agency The Midnight Club.

The graduates had to design their interpretation of ‘Break Through’. Our graduates truly got to work as they only had a week to submit! Therefore, we were truly overwhelmed by the response. Our London graduates designed illustrations, type-based designs and so much more.

Unfortunately 2020 then struck us with a blow. Shops, offices and practically the entire country were put on lockdown. Consequently, the whole project had it’s brakes slammed on.
