Shillington was honored to host Debbie Millman as the keynote speaker of our first-ever #Shillumni Talk, an exclusive event for Shillington design graduates. Today—we’re excited to release a series of short interview videos—capturing only a fraction of Millman’s genius across a range of topics.
Debbie Millman is a name you’ll know in the design world—she’s a writer, educator, artist, brand consultant and host of the radio show Design Matters. Named “one of the most influential designers working today” by Graphic Design USA, it was incredible to have her join us at Shillington New York.
After her lecture, we stole Millman away to answer a few quick questions ranging from her creative process, the impact of design crowdsourcing, Pinterest vs. process and women in the creative industry.
If you aren’t making enough mistakes, you aren’t taking enough risks.
We’ll be sharing Millman’s videos over the coming weeks as part of #MillmanMondays—a new inspiration series. But if you’re a Netflix-style binge watcher, check out the complete set below.
