Pantone’s Colour of the Year 2017 is … Greenery! Here at Shillington, our graphic design students were pumped for this announcement. We’re always on the edge of our seats to discover Pantone’s annual choice. If you’re not familiar, the Pantone Colour of the Year is “a symbolic colour selection; a colour snapshot of what Pantone sees taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude”.
Inspired by Pantone’s Colour of the Year, we asked some talented Shillington teachers to create their own design interpretations of the last decade’s selections. Above you’ll see a fresh design created just for 2017’s Greenery, created by Leyla Muratovic, Director of Shillington Australia. Scroll down to see typographic and pattern interpretations of Radiant Orchid (2014), Sand Dollar (2006), Tangerine Tango (2012) and more!
