Bureau Bruneau

Most of my favourite studios are from Scandinavia—there must be something in the air up there! Bureau Bruneau is a new find and they’ve got some great work. One of the reasons I love them is because their process is so complete. They talk a lot about their concept development for each project.

The Monier identity is based on the architecture of the building itself, which is cubist and rudimentary solid. The idea for the logo is derived from the three different window shapes found throughout the facade of the building.

Treches combines clean lines with playful details and contrasting colors. Their basic motive of the collections is to find an aesthetic balance through geometric forms, creating a sophisticated urban look.
