I was first drawn to Turnstyle Studios through their Nordstrom series of ads featuring stockings with type packages to match each style of stocking. After further research I found Turnstyle did this with a lot of their projects, including the ones pictured here. They seem to always take into account what they’re designing for. Even their own logo is considered.
I particularly enjoy their project for the 2016 AIGA ‘Into the Woods’ design conference. The theme was ‘between the lines’ and was about looking past what’s in front of you. The final package took into account the conference theme and the location in Leavenworth, which is surrounded by pine trees seen below.
