Colour of 2015
Pantone released its Colour of the Year for 2015. Marsala is deep and earthy and, to be honest, a bit unexpected. After last year’s violet shade, I was personally expecting something a bit brighter.
On the Pantone website, Marsala is described as a “hearty, stylish tone”. Bobby Solomon of The Fox Is Black begs to differ: “It’s dried blood, it’s wine stains, it’s the color of regret.”
